Washington Park is a 12-acre park located in the heart of Sunnyvale. The park is home to various amenities, including a playground, a basketball court, a picnic area, and a duck pond. The park also has a unique history. The park was originally part of the Rancho San Justo land grant. In 1868, the land was purchased by Washington Irving, who was one of the first American writers to achieve international fame.
